Cultural peculiarities
The culture of a nation is a factor of great importance as it is an environment people develop in. The culture of every single nation is an exclusive blend of beliefs, customs, rules and regulations. Those rules are not the rules that were created some days or years ago, those are the rules that were developed by the nation during ages. Those rules are the core of the nation, the foundations they base their lives and life of their country on.
Those rules are not the written rules; one will never find the code of rules of certain nations as those customs are so common that they need no documental proof, they are stored in the mind of every representative of a nation. Each nation has its peculiar history and that history is a factor of influence on the foundations nation has. That is why those rules and foundations are peculiar and exclusive for each nation and what is okay for one country may be considered as brutality by another.
Under modern conditions of total international communication one should know more about peculiarities of every nation or at least about national peculiarities of their interlocutor. It often happens that friendly relations disappear for some unknown reason and people bit their brains out in their efforts to find the answer. But that answer is not that hard to find, it is enough to think about the culture your interlocutor belongs to and find out what actions are considered as an aggression by representatives of that culture.
Say, there is a communication between one who lives in Great Britain and one who lives Russia, a number of misunderstandings may appear. First of all both sides should mind the mentality of their interlocutor. Say, British people are people of restrained disposition and they are not used to buddy-buddy manner of commutation, especially with people they barely know. Though, it is okay for people of many other cultures to hold the conversation like if they have known each other for ages.
It doesn't mean that people of one culture are extremely aggressive and don't want to chat with you. It only means that they are not used to such buddy-buddy manner of conversation. On the other hand, those of restrained disposition shouldn't recognise the buddy-buddy manner as offence, they should mind the mentality of a culture and realise that that is just a common way of communication for people, and there are no aggression or bad form.
As you can see, it is important to mind the peculiarities of every nation and every culture in order to build friendly relationships with representatives of other nations and cultures. One shouldn't get offended at some deeds or words of the interlocutor if those seem a bad form to him or her, one should find out the peculiarities of culture of the interlocutor because those deeds that are recognised as an offence by one culture may be the deeds that reveal great respect in another culture.
